Edmonds City Council Election Watch 2013: Wambolt still leading all candidates in fundraising
Based on the latest reports on file with the Public Disclosure Commission, candidates for Edmonds City Council have raised of $41,632 to date. They have spent $14,205, leaving a surplus of $27,427 available before election day.
Ron Wambolt is the leading fundraisers to date with contributions of $15,233 from 85 donors, nine of whom have given $500 in either cash or services. Wambolt is challenging incumbent Adrienne Fraley-Monillas, who has raised $12,650 from 76 contributors, four of whom have contributed $500 or more.
Strom Peterson reports raising $6,733 from 52 donors, with three at the $500 level. His opponent, Alvin Rutledge, reports no fundraising to date.
Kristiana Johnson, who is running to retain the seat that she was appointed to, has raised $3,991 from 28 people with one at the $500 level. Her opponent, Randy Hayden, has received $2,835 from 9 contributors, including $900 from his own pocket.
