Teresa Wippel interviewed candidates for Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace city council and mayor during the summer.

Candidates have been putting their campaigns into high gear for the November general election, and My Edmonds News is pleased to present our Election Watch 2013 section, complete with video interviews of all candidates for Edmonds City Council.

For Position 1, incumbent Kristiana Johnson and challenger Randy Hayden.

For Position 2, incumbent Strom Peterson and challenger Al Rutledge.

For Position 3, incumbent Adrienne Fraley-Monillas and Challenger Ron Wambolt.

Interviews were conducted during the past month by Teresa Wippel, publisher of My Edmonds News and the My Neighborhood News Network. Wippel also interviewed Mountlake Terrace and Lynnwood City Council candidates for contested seats, and those appear on MLTnews.com and LynnwoodToday.com.

    Thank you once again for providing the opportunity to communicate with the citizens of Edmonds. I have now reviewed my video and have noticed that I made two incorrect statements. I said that I retired in 1967; I really retired in 1997. Additionally I made reference to the Town of Woodway and Woodway Meadows; I meant to say Woodway Highlands.
