North Sound Church to present mental health series starting Sunday
Disordered thoughts, psychotic episodes, paralyzing anxiety, debilitating depression and even thoughts of suicide. On Sundays this fall, North Sound Church will examine mental illness as part of its series “Holding on to Hope: Mental Health and the Community of Faith.” The speakers are Pastor Barry Crane and clinical psychologist, Sarah Groen-Colyn, PhD., who practices in Edmonds. The series starts this Sunday, Sept. 8.
The 8 a.m. service at North Sound Church is held in the sanctuary at 4th and Bell in downtown Edmonds. The 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services are held across the street at the Edmonds Conference Center (201 – 4th Ave. N.). Childcare and classes for children are available. Guests are always welcome.
