The Edmonds Library and EPIC Group will host writer Laura Kelly Robb on Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. Robb is a past winner of the Washington State Screenplay Competition, and founder of Mark House Publishing. Her talk, “Self-Publishing: One Writer’s Experience,” is free and open to the public, although seating is limited.

According to Robb, “The presentation will touch on some of the technical, financial and marketing decisions that a writer often makes when deciding to publish his or her own work. I’ll discuss the steps to self-publication and the timeline of my novel, ‘China Rock,’ from editing through marketing.”
