Sound Live Sports Network’s Steve Willits to make good on a bet and lose his hair Friday night
If you’re an Edmonds-Woodway High School football fan, you’ll have two reasons to tune in to the Sound Live Sports Network (SLSN) broadcasts of Edmonds School District football games from Edmonds stadium Friday night. In the 5 p.m. game, Edmonds-Woodway meets Lynnwood in a homecoming game for the Warriors. And during half-time of the 8 p.m. Mountlake Terrace-vs. Shorecrest contest, SLSN broadcaster and Mountlake Terrace HS alumnus Steve Willits will lose his hair, all for a good cause — the Edmonds Public Schools Foundation.
Willits and fellow SLSN broadcaster Keith Nealey, who is the voice of Edmonds-Woodway High School games, made a friendly wager prior to the Terrace-vs.-Edmonds-Woodway football match-up earlier this season — all part of the promotion of the public schools foundation’s 5K fundraising run. The loser agreed to have his head shaved at a future date, and that date is Friday night!
Gail Sarvis of Edmonds’ Salon 512 — herself a graduate of Edmonds High School (prior to the merger of Edmonds and Woodway high schools) has volunteered to do the honors on behalf of her winning alma mater.
