Two-alarm fire damages home at 7th and Hemlock
Martin Proudfoot sent more details on the two-alarm house fire at 7th and Hemlock in Edmonds Tuesday. “The house appeared to be engulfed in flames by the time the firefighters began dousing it with water,” he said. The fire seemed to be under control in about 20 minutes, he added, but “it looked like the house was a total loss. Fortunately, the elderly couple and their two dogs were able to get out unharmed.”
There were no injuries, according to Snohomish County Fire District 1, which provides fire service for Edmonds.
We’ll provide more details when they become available.
