Citizens invited to review City of Edmonds Parks, Recreation and Open Space draft plan

After six months of focus groups, community intercept events, an online survey, two large community workshops, a random sample telephone survey, and many PROS project team meetings, the City of Edmonds has released the draft Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan for a 60 day review period. The draft plan can be found here.

Edmonds citizens are invited to review and send feedback to the city via the online comment form at this link.

For those who do not have access to a computer, a hard copy will be available for review at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St.  Handwritten comments can be dropped off at the Recreation Office following review.

The draft plan will be presented to the Edmonds City Council on Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. A more formal approval process, with an opportunity for public comment before the Planning Board and the City Council, will occur in January and February 2014.
