Scene in Edmonds: Artwalk sparkles with holiday spirit

Jazz choir director Kathy Miller brought about a dozen choir members downtown to entertain artwalk visitors with traditional holiday music.

Artist Angela Bandurka set up shop at the Art Spot on Main Street. Angela works in acrylics. “I take ordinary objects and look at them with a new perspective, letting you see everyday things in your surroundings in a new way,” she says.

Acoustic Cadence provided live music with a distinctly Celtic flavor in the Cole Gallery’s upstairs loft. The group features Bryn Cannon on viola, Tomo Morita recorder, and George Meyers, guitar and vocals. They’ve has been together 3 years, and hope to cut a CD soon. “When they do, we’ll host the reception here!” said Denise Cole, gallery owner.
