Scene in Edmonds: Snow much fun

Before Friday’s early morning Edmonds snow began turning to rain and slush, Larry Vogel took his camera out for a walk from Maplewood to Emerald Hills. Here’s what he found:

The snow gave students an unexpected break as Edmonds public schools closed for the last day before the winter holiday. Tyler, Jake and Markus took full advantage of the day of freedom to dust off their sled and do some serious tobogganing down Vista Way.

The snow was damp and heavy...excellent for packing into good, solid snowballs. Here Tyler pelts his friend Jake with a good one.
