Girls basketball: Second-half surge leads Edmonds-Woodway to 74-44 win over Cascade

warrior logoMady Burdett had five 3-pointers and Natalie Kasper added 4 from behind the arc to lead Edmonds-Woodway to a 74-44 win over Cascade on the Warriors’ home court Saturday night.

The Warriors got off to a slow start and trailed the Bruins 22-21 at halftime, but outscored Cascade 53-22 in the second half.

With the victory, the Warriors improve to 4-1 in league play (7-2 overall) and are in second place in the 4A Wesco South behind Lynnwood (4-0).
