Edmonds Chamber celebrates a year of success

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASome of Edmonds’ best-known faces were in disguise — at least temporarily — at the Edmonds Yacht Club Friday night. The occasion was the annual Edmonds Chamber of Commerce banquet — this year with a Masquerade Ball theme — which drew not only business owners but elected officials and chamber volunteers, many decked out in colorful masks and party clothes.

During a short business meeting, those attending celebrated the group’s continued growth — now at 506 members — heard brief remarks from new Chamber President and CEO Kyle Vixie and City of Edmonds Economic and Community Development Director Stephen Clifton, and also cheered those receiving the following chamber honors:

In addition, the Chamber’s past president, Ron Clyborne, was recognized for dedicated service.
