Meadowdale Middle School students sweep problem-solving competition at regional technology competition

Three teams of students from Meadowdale Middle School swept the problem-solving competition at the Washington Technology Student Association Regional Competition on Jan. 11.

Zack Suh and Josh Ignacio took first place. Alex Barber and Will Wright finished second and Dillon Pruitt and Brandon Tomchick were third.

Brad Knorr and Daniel Nguygn from Alderwood Middle School placed third in Structural Engineering.

Fifty-four students from Alderwood, Brier Terrace, College Place, and Meadowdale middle schools competed in the Regional Competition. Many of these students are enrolled in the District STEM Foundations Course and are preparing for the March WTSA State Conference in Bellevue.
