While Seattle Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll fires up his team for the 2014 Super Bowl this Sunday morning, North Sound Church will be warming up for two Super Sunday Tailgate Celebration services at the Edmonds Conference Center, 201 4th Ave. N. in downtown Edmonds.
Fans will gather at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and following each service volunteers from North Sound Church will serve football fans and hungry folks sausage and eggs or hot dogs. Everyone is urged to wear Seahawk colors to show support for the home team in what promises to be an exciting game that kicks off at 3:30 p.m. (PST) in New Jersey. Food will be served at the church, which is located across from the Conference Center at 404 Bell St.
“Celebrating the Seahawks has become a North Sound Church tradition” according to Pastor Barry Crane “and we are excited to invite our Edmonds community to join us. Around here we care a lot about faith, family, football and fun and this is a great opportunity to celebrate all four.” The services will include an inspiring message by Pastor Barry, a video clip of Russell Wilson and other Seahawk players and special music by the North Sound jazz group, Doxa.
