North Sound SeaWolves form new affiliation with Issaquah Soccer Club, plan to play most games in Issaquah

North_Sound_SeaWolves_LogoThe North Sound SeaWolves soccer team of the Premier Development League (PDL) has formed an affiliation with the Issaquah Soccer Club and will be playing most of its games in Issaquah for the upcoming season.

The possibility remains that the SeaWolves might still play a match or two at Edmonds Stadium, their home over the last two seasons.

“I have been working with Jimmy Ball (Director of Coaching for Issaquah Soccer Club) for the last three years and we have been talking for a while about uniting forces,” says SeaWolves owner Alex Silva. “ISC has hired a new Executive Director for the club, Gwynne Williams, who has great experience (including MLS) and knows as well the importance of the USL PDL.”

Silva will step down to an assistant coaching role and Ball will be the new head coach of the team. Williams will fill the role of SeaWolves General Manager.

The SeaWolves were founded in 2010 and have played in the PDL since the 2011 season. Originally the club hosted matches at Goddard Memorial Stadium in Everett. In 2012 the SeaWolves relocated their matches to Edmonds Stadium.

The Premier Development League (PDL) season runs annually from May through July.
