“Do Si Do In the Sky,” the documentary that tells the story of late Edmonds resident Fred Bell’s adventures on the U.S. Helicopter Square Dancing Team, has won another accolade.
According to Bell’s wife Bette, the film just earned first place in the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival. The film had earlier won first prize in both the Santa Monica Film Festival and the Poppy Jaspar Film Festival. Directed by Cameron Tucker, the film needs additional funding before it can be shown on more screens.
My father, CWO2 Richard Kenneth Brown was one of the original pilots of the square dancing helicopters. How do I see the documentary?
