Recently retired Edmonds City Councilmember Frank Yamamoto and his wife Ailsa will be leading a finance class through North Sound Church, and the community is invited to participate.
The course is based on Dave Ramsay’s Financial Peace University, which “presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be,” according to Ramsay’s website.
Frank Yamamoto, who has 30 years’ experience in executive management, teaches a finance class at Edmonds Community College. Formerly with the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, Ailsa (Kellam) Yamamoto has an MBA in organizational management and teaches finance and leadership at the college.
The cost of the nine-week course is $93, and it begins Wednesday, Jan. 29 in the church sanctuary from 7-8:30 pm. The couple will offer a preview of the course this Sunday, Jan. 26 at 12:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. Contact them at email@example.com for more information.
North Sound Church is located at 404 Bell St.
