Alvin Rutledge announces candidacy for 32nd District legislative seat
Long-time Edmonds community volunteer Alvin Rutledge has announced that he is running against incumbent Rep. Ruth Kagi this November in the Washington State Legislature’s 32nd District.
Kagi, a Democrat first elected to the House in 1999, lives in Shoreline. Rutledge, a Republican who has been a candidate for various offices over the years, is a retired transfer and moving company owner/operator. He lives in Edmonds’ Lake Ballinger neighborhood.
