Glacier Peak came out fired up in the third quarter and erased a two-point halftime deficit with a 22-7 outburst and went on to defeat Meadowdale 57-45 in a Wesco 3A South Division boys basketball game at Glacier Peak High School.
Charlie White scored 13 points and was the only Maverick in double figures. Glacier Peak’s Trey Chambers led all scorers with 20 points.
Meadowdale (3-8 in the league, 9-10 overall) remains two games behind fourth-place Shorewood (5-6, 10-8) with two games remaining. The top four teams in the divison move on to the district tournament. Meadowdale closes out the regular season with games against Marysville-Getchell and Shorecrest next week.
