The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce on Thursday night paid tribute to the dedicated volunteers who staff the Log Cabin visitors center in downtown Edmonds, honoring them at a dinner and awards ceremony at Fairwinds Brighton Court in Lynnwood.

Fairwinds Brighton Court provided the meal free of charge, and manager Jackie Requa-Hall was there to welcome guests. In addition, Paulette Jacobson of Catholic Community Service of Snohomish County, who manages the volunteers’ hours, was in attendance.

Those who had worked more than 200 volunteer hours in 2013 at the cabin were Mim Edelstein with 286.5, Linda McCullough with 252, Linda Belz with 213.5, Diane Rice with 212 and Bonnie Mott with 204.5.

The other volunteers recognized were: Mary Hackley, Judith Baker, Sunny Strong, Marybeth Hodvde, Athalie Kirchenbaum, Judy Balzer, Dorothy Gross, Sidney Cohen, Carole Nowak, Sunny Stingl, Jane Simpson, Diana Plumis, Terri Golner, Judy Degernes, Francine Cohen, Jim Tomlinson, Milly Brenner, Donna Walther, Bud Saffle, Sam Bess and Linda Prada.
