Girls basketball: Eck, Jackson combine for 33 to lead Warriors over Snohomish

Edmonds-Woodway’s girls basketball team stayed alive in 4A district play with a 53-40 win over Snohomish on the Panthers’ home court Tuesday night.

The Warriors were led by the combined 32-point scoring of Sidney Eck with 21 and Moni Jackson, who earned Player of the Game honors, with 12. E-W will now face Monroe Thursday in a third-place loser-out game at Mountlake Terrace High School.

The winner of that game will play a crossover game against a Kingco team for the final spot to the state 4A tournament.

Thursday’s 6 p.m. game will be broadcast on the Sound Live Sports Network.
