Don’t miss the Cat in the Hat Saturday

Cat in hatThe Cat in the Hat will pose for photos and read to any children who stop by the Edmonds Bookshop on Saturday, March 8 from 2 to 3 p.m. The event is a part of a literacy drive throughout the month of March.

To encourage new books donations to children in Washington state who have no new books in their homes, the Edmonds Bookshop will give a 20 percent discount throughout the month for any books purchased for this endeavor. Donors will be rewarded with entries each time they donate for two drawings, one at Comstock Jewelers and the other at Revelations Yogurt, where the book collection boxes are located.
