All three Edmonds School District Robotics teams made it into the semifinal at the FIRST Robotics Shorewood District event last weekend. Mountlake Terrace High’s Team 1778 was on the second-seeded alliance and played against Lynnwood High’s Team 2522 (in a sixth-seeded alliance). Lynnwood’s Team 2522 defeated Mountlake Terrace’s Team 1778 and faced Edmonds-Woodway High’s Team 4077 in the final matches.

Edmonds-Woodway’s Team 4077 was captain of the winning alliance, and also received the Imagery Award. With this success, it looks like EWHS will be joining Lynnwood’s Team 2522, which qualified earlier, to compete in the Pacific Northwest District Championships in Portland April 9-12.
