Edmonds Floretum Garden Club will be hosting its third Saturday Workshop on Saturday, March 15, from 10 a.m.-noon.  Bea Randall, Master Gardener and current president of the Evergreen District of the Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs, will be presenting “So, You are Thinking of Having Chickens in Your Garden?”

Randall will show slides illustrating her humorous, but instructive, experiences raising chickens over the past seven years.  Information will include the shelter and feeding of chickens and their egg-laying cycles.  In addition, she will talk about her garden in Arlington and how she has adapted it to enable her to garden with less work and expense as she ages.

The presentation will be in the meeting room of Coldwell, Banker, Bain at 108 5th Ave. S. in Edmonds.  All are welcome.  Donations are accepted. For information contact Janice Noe at janicenoe@comcast.net or call her at 425-774-4991.

  1. Maybe this will get the city council to actual think about raising the number of chickens. Oh wait…they can’t even place another member on the council so I guess this probably won’t be addressed.
