Edmonds Floretum Garden Club will be hosting its final Saturday workshop of the season on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. until noon–and this time it is for kids ages 7-12.

“Introduction to Gardening for Kids” will be taught by Growing Groceries mentor Tess Cayou, horticulturist Janice Noe and Farmer Frog’s Matt Erwin, garden lead at Olivia Park school garden. Kids will learn about planting seeds and garden basics. Everyone will get to plant something to take home.

The free workshop is co-sponsored by the Edmonds Parks and Recreation Department, the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club, and Farmer Frog. It will be held at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St., in Edmonds. To register, call Janice Noe at 425-774-4991.
