Softball: Jackson, DeBella lead Warriors in 6-3 win over Hawks Monday

warrior-logoSamone Jackson went 2-for-4 with two runs and Kelly DeBella added two runs as Edmonds-Woodway beat Mountlake Terrace 6-3 in a non-league game Monday afternoon at E-W.

Pitcher Cheyanne Strock threw a complete game for the Warriors, allowing just two earned runs.

The Warriors pushed five runs across in the first two innings, while Terrace could only score single runs in the second, fourth and seventh innings. Two MTHS players went deep in the game; Hannah Baisch and Hannah Wilcox each smacked solo home runs, but it wouldn’t be enough for Terrace to come back against the quick-starting Warriors.

Next up for the Warriors (2-1) is Shorecrest at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 at Shorecrest High School.
