Two Edmonds fundraisers for Oso mudslide victims set for next week

An Edmonds-based karate school is holding two fundraisers next week to aid those affected by the mudslide in Oso.

Carter Satori Karate will hold a Kick-a-Thon Monday, March 31 at 6 p.m. Students of all martial arts schools are invited to participate and collect pledges they can bring to the event.

On Wednesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. there will be a Kid-Art Plus sale; students will sell their art and other items they would like to donate.

The karate students hope to raise $500 dollars, with all proceeds going to those affected by the mudslide through Cascade Valley Hospital Foundation.

Both fundraisers will be held at 22811-100th Ave. W., Edmonds. You can learn more at www.satoriglory.com or by calling Carter Satori Karate at 206-718-1183.
