Floretum Garden Club is sponsoring the “Introduction to Kids’ Gardening” on Saturday, April 19 from 10 a.m.-noon at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main St., Room 206. Children will learn about planting seeds, transplanting and other garden basics. They will plant something to take home.

Teaching the class will be Tess Cayou from the Growing Groceries group, Janice Noe, former city horticulturist, and a representative from the Farmer Frog program.

The workshop is co-sponsored by Edmonds Park and Recreation and Farmer Frog. Kids ages 7-12 may be registered for this free workshop. Call Janice Noe at 425-774-4991 to reserve a place.
