Scene in Edmonds: Driftwood Players throw a party

Edmonds’ Driftwood Players hosted an Edmonds Chamber of Commerce after-hours event, “Party Like It’s 1929,” at the Wade James Theater Wednesday, and took an opportunity to promote their upcoming production of “Thugs: A Musical Mafiasco.” Here, flapper-attired Driftwood Board President Carissa Meisner Smit, right, and Vice President Mary Kay Voss, left, welcome Edmonds Realtor Wayne Purser.

Driftwood volunteer Brounwyn Smith and Board Treasurer Kathleen Houston assist with refreshments.
