Weekend reminder at Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Garden: Save the Frogs Day, papermaking

With Earth Day last Tuesday, here are two planet-friendly events coming up at the Edmonds Wildlife Habitat Native Plant Demonstration Garden next weekend. The demonstration garden is located at the Willow Creek Hatchery on Pine Street just west of Highway 104 (Edmonds Way).

Saturday, April 26 — Edmonds Save the Frogs Day with Frog Lady Thayer Cueter from 1-3 p.m. Families and all people interested in or local frogs, their habitat and how to have a frog friendly backyard are welcome – there is no charge to attend the program.  For more information, contact garden@pilchuckaudubon.org or call 424-771-8165

Sunday April 27 – Local artist April Richardson will demonstrate how to use recycled paper to make handmade paper shapes embedded with native flower seeds and then everyone can make their own. This program will be from 1-3 p.m.  There is no charge to participate, but registration is required. Email the number of people who will be attending to garden@pilchuckaudubon.org
