Annual Edmonds Waterfront Festival set for this Friday-Sunday

Times:  Friday 3-10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Location:  Port of Edmonds Marina, 358 Admiral Way
Admission:  $3. Children 12 & under are free

The 27th Annual Edmonds Waterfront Festival will take center stage in Edmonds May 30-June 1, hosted by the Rotary Club of Edmonds.

A major fundraiser, proceeds support Rotary programs and services, including college scholarships for local youth, support for YWCA transitional housing for women and their children, YMCA Partners with Youth, literacy, housing and water projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America and Rotary First Harvest service to local food banks.

Here are some of the attractions, located at the Port of Edmonds Marina:

THE MAIN STAGE presents top attractions including popular NW dance band The Beatniks and Southern rock band Whiskey River  Lots of family entertainers will perform on the Main Stage including the always popular Reptile Isle reptile show, and music and dance from the South Pacific by Hula O Lehualani. There are also numerous food booths and children’s activities, including rides.

THE WILLOW CREEK (aka Deer Creek) FISH HATCHERY will offer free fishing for kids Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is hosted by Edmonds Laebugten Salmon Chapter and has become a traditional favorite attraction.

SHUTTLE BUSES. Shuttle buses will be on hand to help make your visit to the festival a snap. Free shuttle service is offered from: Downtown Edmonds @ 4th  & Bell, 5th & Dayton and 3rd & Dayton  and the interpretative marsh railhead (near the fish hatchery).

Shuttle to fish hatchery starts at 10 am. Thereafter, trips to the hatchery are every third bus or “on demand”. Last pick-up from hatchery is at 4:10 p.m.
Shuttle service for the regular route begins at 11 am and runs until 10:30 pm. On Sunday, shuttle to fish hatchery starts at 10 am. Thereafter, trips to the hatchery are every third bus or “on demand”. Last pick-up from hatchery is at 4:10 pm.

Shuttle service for the regular route begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 7:30 pm.

MUSIC AT THE PIER Sea Jazz will kick off in conjunction with the Edmonds Rotary Club Waterfront Festival and will feature live jazz at the Pier on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, May 1 starting at noon.

For your safety, pets, skates, skateboards and bikes are not allowed on festival grounds.
