Justin Ridley drove in a pair of runs to help the Mavericks to the win in the Wesco 3A South game at Oak Harbor High School.

Cascade 4, Edmonds-Woodway 2

Led by K.J. Brady’s two-run homer, the Bruins (12-2 league, 16-3 overall) came from behind in the bottom of the fifth to clinch the Wesco 4A championship. Cascade’s victory snapped a 10-game winning streak for the Warriors (10-4, 12-7) who were led by a double from Jason Smarr.

Meaowdale’s Trevor Frisby shot a 2-under-par 63 to secure medalist honors in the Wesco 3A match at Lynnwood Golf Course.

Lynnwood’s Rudy Caparas shot a 4-under-par 68 to earn medalist honors in the Wesco 4A match at Walter Hall Golf Course in Everett. Caparas finished one stroke ahead of Jackson’s Arnold Ha.

3A Girls golf

Shorecrest 246, Marysville-Getchell 252, Meadowdale 257

Meadowdale’s Morgan Rood, Annelise Blanchard and Ana Mari Beall finished tied for third in the Wesco 3A match at Cedarcrest Golf Course.
