Reminder: Edmonds celebrating Bike to Work Day this Friday, May 16

EBAGAs they do each year, members of the Edmonds Bicycle Advocacy Group will gather across from the Edmonds ferry dock and just north of the Edmonds Sounder train station to cheer on bicycle commuters during the annual Bike to Work Day event, this year on Friday,  May 16.

From 6-9 a.m., bicyclists can enjoy Bike To Work Day giveaways, Snohomish County bike maps, fresh scones from Edmonds PCC and coffee from Starbucks in Downtown Edmonds. You can also sign up for raffle prizes

The group will also hold a celebration ride: meet at 7:30 a.m. meet at the  Edmonds PCC Natural Market parking lot, 9803 Edmonds Way. (Light refreshments provided by Edmonds PCC.)

Sponsors include the Edmonds Bicycle Advocacy Group, Cascade Bicycle Club, Copper Pot Indian Bar & Grill, PCC Natural Market – Edmonds, Starbucks Downtown Edmonds, City of Edmonds Engineering Department, Just Frogs Toads Too Amphibian Center, and B.I.K.E.S Club of Snohomish County.
