Edmonds Senior Center thrift store to host grand reopening Wednesday after remodel

The thrift store located in the Edmonds Senior Center will be hosting a grand reopening and ribbon cutting on Wednesday, May 21 at 10 a.m.

The thrift store was closed for 10 days while new flooring was installed and walls were moved and given fresh paint. Organizers invite you to “come find some treasures down by the beach and enjoy refreshments.”

Run solely by volunteers, the Edmonds Senior Center thrift store is responsible for 25 percent of the center’s annual budget. As a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, your donations to the center and thrift store are tax deductible. The thrift store, located at 220 Railroad Ave. just south of the ferry dock, is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

  1. Does anyone know if the Country Boutique ever found a new location after being displaced from the Senior Center prior to the remodel?

  2. My mother in law visits Edmonds every summer. She takes home some amazing outfits from the ESC Thrift shop. She holds a little style show and models her new attire for her envious girl friends when she returns home each fall!
