Edmonds’ Veterans Plaza to recognize military service members

My Edmonds News interviewed Ron Clyborne, chair of the Veteran’s Plaza committee, about his efforts to create a local memorial to veterans.

The new Veterans Plaza will be dedicated outside the city’s Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N., at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 26 — Memorial Day. Monday’s dedication will unveil a bronze plaque and will also serve as a kickoff to fundraising efforts to design and develop a more interactive area for everyone to enjoy and reflect on the importance of those who serve in our military.
