Embellished announces it will close as of June 1

embellished logoAfter less than two years in downtown Edmonds, Embellished — where you could paint a work of art under the eye of experienced instructors while you enjoy a glass of wine or beer — is closing its doors as of June 1.

Here’s the note on the Embellished website:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to make the very very difficult decision to close the doors of Embellished. The past two years have been a lot of fun, and we have enjoyed every minute of it. From being part of this great Arts Community of Edmonds, to watching the happy faces every time we have a painting session. It is with a very sad and heavy heart that we have made this decision. This will be effective June 1, 2014 If you have a gift certificate, please email us at

  1. Bummer. I always meant to get in there and didn’t make the time. There’s a lesson learned – go out and enjoy all the great things that Edmonds has to offer.

  2. I feel sad about this, too. My husband and I had a wonderful time, and our pictures will be a fond memory of our visit. Best wishes to all of you, and thank you, BIG TIME, for making our visit a hoot.
