Meadowdale HIgh computer science competition update

Congratulations to all Meadowdale High School students who competed in the Puget Sound Computer Science Teachers Association Spring 2014. Adam Ali, Maggie Conner, Claire Kim, Zach Lantow, Will Mun, and Morgan Thomas all had a great time competing as well as Novin Changizi, Jason Jahn, and Mark Steinke who placed second in the competition. Congratulations also to their coach Scott Bracken for encouraging these kids from the start. The event was held at the Living Computer Museum which presents a collection of “meaningful milestones in the evolution of computers and how people use them” by displaying computers from the past fifty years. Over forty teams participated in the contest representing twenty-two schools, and all the students enjoyed snacks, a lunch, and raffle prizes including an X-Box One.
