The former Ed Lynn strip mall, which at one time was home to the Enterprise newspapers, has been torn down.

Other former tenants at the shopping complex included Catholic book/gift store For Heaven’s Sake, Ken’s Barber Shop, Yesterday’s Consignment Shop, the Pet Parlor and a 12-step program. The building, located at 7300 196th St. SW., has been empty for several years and fenced off from the public.

The Lynnwood congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses plans to build an approximately 14,112 square foot church on an existing concrete pad. The main floor will consist of two auditoriums, meeting rooms and offices, while the the upper floor will consist of three apartments and a small office/meeting room. The apartments will be for the exclusive use for the ministers of the church.
