St. Alban’s to screen climate change documentary ‘Chasing Ice’ in Edmonds May 10

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds is offering a free screening of the award-winning documentary “Chasing Ice” on Saturday, May 10,  from 7-9 p.m.

According to the church announcement:

Chasing Ice is the story of one man’s mission to change the tide of history by gathering undeniable evidence of our changing planet. Even with a scientific upbringing, photographer James Balog had been a skeptic about climate change. However, his first trip north sparked a challenge within him that would put his career and his very well-being at risk. Using time-lapse cameras, his videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate.
