We have two winners in last week’s Beatles trivia contest — and a new trivia question for this week.
The answer to last week’s question — Who was George Harrison’s best man at his wedding to Patty Boyd? — is Paul McCartney. Many people correctly identified him so the winners were chosen at random. Those winners — Dan Zabeck and Robert Kramer — each receive two tickets to to the musical retelling of the Beatles story — “In My Life” — at the Edmonds Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. June 4.
Each week during the month of May, you can test your Beatles trivia by answering the weekly question in the comment section below. Two correct answers will be drawn every Wednesday to win a pair of tickets to the June 4 concert. The winner will be announced next week. Good luck!
This week’s question:
Who recorded the single “Ringo I Love You” and who produced it?
“In My Life” is the musical retelling of the Beatles story through the eyes of manager Brian Epstein and featuring the live music of renowned tribute band Abbey Road. The production — scheduled for June 4 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts — includes multimedia, period costumes and vintage instruments. As a special treat, Edmonds-Woodway High School students Elliot Harrison, Hannah Gorham, Madeleine Jeffers and Jonathan Mah will join the band for several songs.
