It was a big day for the City of Lynnwood, the Edmonds School District and Costco Wednesday morning at Lynnwood Place.

Work has officially begun on the new Costco at Lynnwood Place or what used to be the former site of Lynnwood High School.

Lynnwood Mayor Nicola Smith, Edmonds School District Executive Director of Business and Operations Stewart Mhyre and Costco Senior Vice-President of Operations Ron Vachris helped to officially break ground on what will be the Puget Sound’s newest Costco. The Edmonds School District is the owner of the property. 

The Lynnwood Costco is expected to open in the fall of 2015.
