The Forbidden City (Photo courtesy of Wikipedia)If you’ve ever wanted to travel to China, now’s your chance with a fun and affordable trip with the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, set for Oct. 11-20, 2014. The tour is open to anyone in the community, regardless of whether one is a chamber member.

Cost is $2,628 per person — which includes round-trip airfare between Seattle and Beijng, lodging at 4- or 5-star hotels, three daily meals, and entrance to attractions. Credit card payments are welcome.

According to Chamber Membership and Events Director Valerie Claypool, the chamber took advantage of an opportunity to participate in a “turnkey” style tour operated by Citslinc for chambers of commerce.

The trip will include tours of Beijing (including the Great Wall, Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City, and the Lama Temple), Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou.

The official deadline to register for the trip is Aug. 1. To learn more, email valerie@edmondswa.com.
