Edmonds Chamber of Commerce appoints three new board members
The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce has appointed three new members to its board of directors, and a former member has also returned to the board.
The new members are Maggie Peterson, advertising and marketing director for the My Neighborhood News Network; Diane Toney, rental manager at the Edmonds Yacht Club and Dexter Wellington, mortgage branch manager for HomeStreet Bank.
Peterson, a Seattle Pacific University graduate, taught for 14 years at the Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center (now Edmonds Heights) and also worked in sales and marketing with the Sheraton Corporation in Los Angeles and Seattle. She serves on the board of the Edmonds Center for the Arts Board and also belongs to the Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce.
Toney, who has nearly 30 years experience in sales and marketing primarily in the hospitality industry, is an Edmonds Chamber Ambassador and sits on the Chamber’s Membership Committee.
Wellington a lifetime Edmonds resident, has been a mortgage originator for 24 years. He has run the beer garden at the A Taste of Edmonds for the past 3 years.
Seven-year chamber board member Bob Rinehart is rejoining the board after a short absence. He served as the Asian Representative for economic development for Southwest Pennsylvania 1995-98 and is a co-founder and board member of a Reno-based company that produces eye-tracking software packages for various applications.
