Edmonds police seek video of Tuesday’s Seaview neighborhood assault

Edmonds police detectives investigating the assault of a 16-year-old girl during a party in the Seaview neighborhood earlier this week are seeking anyone who may have taken video of the incident. If you have a video, contact the Edmonds Police Department Tip Line at 425-771-0212.

The girl, a runaway from Everett, was taken to Swedish/Edmonds hospital early Tuesday morning after suffering non-life-threatening injuries during what Edmonds police described as “a juvenile party that had gotten out of control.

According to Edmonds Police Sgt. Josh McClure, police detectives served a search warrant on a residence in the 8400 block of 191st Street Southwest Wednesday, and also searched neighboring properties for evidence related to this assault. Multiple witnesses that were interviewed indicated that a gun shot was heard, he said.

Detectives have determined that there also was a second assault victim, an 18-year-old female. She did not require immediate medical attention, McClure said.
