Holly House needs volunteers for Aug. 9 pickup

Holly-House-logo-300x88Holly House, a non-profit children’s holiday gift program, is in need of volunteers to help pick up a large donation from the North Shore Senior Center Garage Sale in Bothell.

The pickup will be from 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug.  9 at Northshore Senior Center – 10201 E Riverside Dr, Bothell.

Trucks and vans are needed. Holly House will be gleaning, packing and taking donations to Armadillo Storage on Highway 99 in Edmonds.

Holly House provides gifts and necessities for low-income children in Snohomish County. The organization provides new toys, books, socks, underwear, pajamas, coats, Christmas stockings, stuffed animals, and blankets to each of the children. It now serves low-income children in 15 schools where there is a 60-85 percent poverty level with 33 different languages represented.
