Man, 65, killed after bicycle hits fence in Edmonds Monday night

A 65-year-old man riding a bicycle in Edmonds died Monday night around 10 p.m. after he struck a fence on Hemlock Street near 7th Avenue, Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marsh said.

The exact cause of the accident was unknown, but the man was deceased at the scene. Marsh said he didn’t know for sure whether the victim was an Edmonds resident.

  2. Hopefully this man wasn’t trying to avoid a car driving fast well above the speed limit. On our regular walk recently, we had to move very fast to avoid a truck coming right at us well above the speed limit. He was gone in seconds, and for us, it took half a day to get over it……
