Aug. 23

23900 block Highway 99: A suspicious person was contacted in the parking lot of a motel. He was found to have a Lynnwood Police Department warrant. He was arrested and his custody was transferred to the Lynnwood Police Department.

300 block 3rd Avenue South: A vehicle was prowled and the car battery stolen while parked in a parking lot overnight. No suspect information or physical evidence was available at the time of the report.

Aug. 24

23600 block Highway 99: A man was arrested on two confirmed warrants and booked. He was also charged with possession of heroin and paraphernalia. He was booked at Snohomish County Jail.

23600 block Highway 99: A night manager called to report a suspicious person inside the store. The suspect appeared to be preparing to steal expensive items.

Aug. 25

20700 block 82nd Avenue West: An unknown person used force to enter a home during the day. The suspect took cash and jewelry.

18000 block 73rd Avenue West: A complainant reported that a suspicious vehicle has been following him for the last two weeks.

Aug. 26

21200 block 84th Avenue West: A driver threatened a construction flagger by using abusive language. This created a risk of assault and obstructed traffic  when the driver got out of the vehicle to confront the flagger and police officer. The driver received a criminal citation and was released on scene.

Aug. 27

9900 block 232nd Street Southwest: Unknown suspects stole construction equipment over the weekend. The equipment was parked along the side of the road.

Aug. 29

23200 block Highway 99: A woman reported a burglary to her apartment by her ex-boyfriend and his friends.

Aug. 31

24300 block 116th Avenue West: In Woodway, someone heard the sound of their home’s front door opening and someone rummaging around the upstairs of the residence. Nothing was found.

Sept. 2

23600 block Highway 99: A man stole several bottles of hard liquor from a local business. The man threatened and swung a bottle at one of the employees while fleeing the scene.

23600 block Highway 99: Someone witnessed a man attempt to steal items from a local business. The man was criminally trespassed from the business and arrested on a confirmed misdemeanor warrant out of Shoreline. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
