Edmonds-Woodway again looking for boys basketball coach

Edmonds-Woodway High School is once again seeking a varsity boys’ basketball coach.

Jason Hopkins, a former standout Edmonds-Woodway High School basketball star and 2004 grad, had taken the head coaching job at E-W in May. But Hopkins was recently offered a position at Idaho State and resigned, said EWHS Athletic Director Angie McGuire.

Hopkins had replaced Steve Call, who resigned earlier this year.

According to McGuire, the E-W coaching position has been posted and she’s hopeful a new coach will be appointed “by the end of September.
