Feet First, a local nonprofit working to ensure all communities in Washington are walkable, is hosting an Edmonds waterfront walk at 5:30 p.m. this Tuesday, Sept. 16, starting and ending at the Edmonds Train Station.
The closest cross street is Dayton and Railroad Avenue, and the group will meet on the platform along Dayton Street. (There is plenty of parking nearby in the Sound Transit lot, Harbor Square and the Port of Edmonds.
The walk is led by Neighborhood Walking Ambassador Nathan Proudfoot, and will take participants through the marsh down to marina beach then north to Brackett’s Landing and back to the Edmonds Station. Participants will have an opportunity to view an operating train layout in the Edmonds Station.
The walk will be moderate pace with the ability to walk and talk.
