Ready, set, shoot: Annual Edmonds Photomarathon set for Saturday

Edmonds Noon Rotary Club will host its annual Photomarathon this Saturday, Sept 6. The event begins at the office of RBC Wealth Management, 303 5th Ave. S., Edmonds.

Here’s how it works: Each participant must submit six photos on six topics in a six-hour period. Registration starts at 9 a.m.; topics are announced at 10 a.m. Registration fee is $20.

Prizes will be awarded at an Awards Event and Silent Auction on Oct. 5 at Artworks, 2nd and Dayton, in Edmonds, from 2-5 p.m. Many of the photos from the contest will be displayed. The public will also vote during the event to choose a People’s Choice Award for best photo overall.
