Prep girls basketball: Warriors beat Scots, 68-52

Edmonds-Woodway High School’s girls basketball team came away with a 68-52 home victory over Shorecrest (2-3 league, 7-6 overall) Wednesday night.

The Warriors (5-1 league, 11-2 overall) were led by Missy Peterson, who scored a game-high 27 points and was named the Snohomish Times Sports Network Player of the Game. Moni Jackson had 18 points including three 3-pointers, while Natalie Kasper added 13, three of them 3s.
